The Great Canadian Euchre Challenge On Saturday August 7 our Summer Classic Euchre Tournament will be a one day (1) event. Registration is between 09:00 - 10:00 AM. Rules familiarities to follow, play will commence at 10:30 am. Questions concerning Progressive Euchre rules only Please. Players should familiarize themselves with rules of "Classic Tens" (Partners). Sixteen (16) progressive Games of 8 hands per game. Eight (8) games before lunch and eight (8) games after lunch. Lunch is expected to be at 12:30 - 1:00 PM. Break for lunch will be 45 minutes. The top sixteen players (16) will advance to the "Classic Tens" Tournament. Partners will be drawn randomly from the sixteen who made the cut. This will establish the partners who will compete for the finalist of the "Classic Tens".
Round one (1) Quarter Finals of Classic Tens, Team match ups will be random, the 8 teams will play a 2 out of 3 with winners advance to the semi-finals. Note: Round 1 is prior to Supper.
Supper is expected to be approximately 5:30 - 6:00 PM (one hour and 15 minutes) 1' 15"
Round two (2) Semi Finals, After supper is finished the four remaining teams will play a best 3 out of 5 games with winners advance to the finals.
Consolation Tournament After supper those players who didn't advance from the 16 games Progressive tournament as well as those players eliminated in Round One (1) of "Classic Tens" quarter finals will compete in an eight (8) game (8 hands per game) Progressive Tournament.
Round three (3) Finals, Classic Tens Finals will play a best 3 out of 5 games for the Championship title of the Great Canadian Euchre Challenge.
Registration :Entry Fees have been adjusted, they are now $50.00 per person. Dinner is an option to each person at $20.00 extra. If sufficient meals are ordered then they will be made available. There are no guarantees. A light lunch is included in your $50.00. Includes guarantee of two (2) Tournaments (16 game) Progressive, Classic Tens (Partners) and/or Consolation Tournament as described above. A light lunch is provided. Prize money as posted on prize page.
Deposits ($20.00) are accepted up to August 1/10. Entries after Aug. 1 cannot obtain dinner. Deadline for registering is August 1, 2010. We must give the Legion our expected numbers for food preparation. Walk in entries are accepted up to August 7 at registration time if tables are available.

USA and International Players are welcome. A unique tournament with both Progressive and Classic 10's Euchre. Due to the parity of the Canadian and US Dollar there is no exchange rate in currencies.
