The Great Canadian Euchre Challenge

I must be up front with those from out of town as well as those from this area.

To come from as far away as some do, I must advise them that I cannot put this kind of a tournament with 2 dozen players. I hope to try again in the spring and will try to find an answer to registration. My apologies but it would not have been the type of tournament you expect. The prize money would have been very poor. Thanks for your registration and hope I can do better in the spring.

I will be mailing those folks from out of town either their original check marked VOID in case it gets lost or misplaced or a check from the Great Canadian Euchre Challenge. I will probably get them in the mail no later than Thursday Oct 1/09.

Tournament Formats

Friday (Progressive) Twelve (12) Games 8 hands per game. Rules 6:30 PM Play at 7:00 PM

Saturday Morning Classic 10's (Partners) Rules 09:30 info Play to begin at 10:00 AM Games 1-5 (no scheduled breaks)

Saturday (Lunch at approximately) 12:30 - 1:00 PM (45 minutes) Resumption games 6 - 10

Classic 10's Playoffs: Preliminary Round (1) All 8 teams will be paired up randomly and will play a best 2 of 3 round. Winners move on to Semi Finals while losing teams will play in the Consolation Tournament after supper. Semi Final round will be a best 3 of 5. Finals round is a best of 7 games.

Consolation Tournament: As soon as it is possible after dinner has been completed play will resume with the semi-finals of Classic 10's partners. The consolation tournament will commence as well.
